SPLASH!

SPLASH!

By Tim Beggs ( Contact )   July 2, 2010

I'm like most people and can't believe the 4th of July is here so soon. We don't have any major plans, but will enjoy some grilling and soaking up the sun at 2 different gatherings this weekend. The menu features your basic 'All-American' standards. Burgers, brats, steak, wings and hotdogs are always crowd pleasers. Potato salad, cole slaw, veggies, suasage and cheese will be sure to please as well. There may be a frosty beverage or 2 in the forecast too!

Two of our close friends have beautiful homes and both have great swimming pools. Many times during the summer they invite family and friends over to enjoy each others company and to cool off from the heat. I'm glad to be included on the guest lists. Here's to a safe and happy 4th of July weekend and remember to wait 45 minutes after eating before swimming!

PS-Don't forget to bring a towel!
