CHF Baby!
It's been a while since I've had my turn hosting Big Red's Country Hall of Fame on WJVL. Looks like my wait is over as I'll sit in on Sunday. The last time I hosted was following the George Jones Show at the Rock County 4H Fair in July. That was a wild weekend.Big Red jumped on the bus with George after the Friday night show and toured the midwest with the Possum for 2 days. Nobody knew where he was. He turned up missing for work on Saturday. His family had contacted me, thinking we were still together listening to some old Willie Nelson albums. By Saturday night Mr. Red, Big Reds dad had received a telegram from his son requesting money and cheese curds? At 3am Sunday morning I got a call from Big Red. He sounded pretty bad with broken english. I thought I could hear chickens, sheep, goats and other farm animals in the background. I couldn't understand much, but I was able to find out Red, George and the crew were in Iowa getting ready for another County Fair performance. I talked some sense to the boy and finally he agreed to leave the crew and return home. I thought he would catch a bus or something when he told me he was going to hop on a freight train and ride the rails home like Box Car Willie would do? As Hank Hill would say: "that boy aint right" So if your around your radio Sunday for the WJVL Country Hall of Fame, give me a call for your favorite classics. I'm sure you'll hear a truck driving tune and some of the greatest country music of all time. I'll see you on the radio!

Timmy you do a great job when you fill in for Big Red. But Red is Red and he's just got away about him. I'd lover to hear you both on at the same time, now that would be funny. You both do a great job of keeping True Country music alive!!!
And Junior stick with these two they'll teach you something!
