Is This Green...or Mean?
WOW! Looks like I haven't blogged since early last month! Sorry. So maybe this is my monthly blog. The Austin Family Compound is committed to "going green"....at least my wife is! Let's talk recycling. I, (as chief operating garbage officer C.O.G.O.), have to handle the recycle bin and everything in it. The thing is...I want to just throw all glass and plastic in the bin! Lisa says only "certain" things can go in there! AND the glass has to be washed out and the labels taken off! Shouldn't there be someone at the recycle place that does that? Now, let's talk "organic". First, I LOVE the organic food Lisa finds at the farmer's market and in the store. But, now she's found some bath soap that's "Organic Peppermint". I, of course, was the first to open the new bar and try it out. YIKES! Let me say this...peppermint is great for toothpaste...NOT bath soap! So it's 5am and I start my shower with our new soap. Suddenly I am aware that my body (ALL of it) is tingling and feels cool! It's like I was a giant peppermint stick...along with various parts (if you get my drift)! Is this Green or MEAN?! some things should be left UN-green! I guess the good news is....I smell like Christmas!

Anything that discourages you from using soap is a BAD thing!
