High Heels Hurt.

High Heels Hurt.

I can't say it any plainer than that. I don't know what it is that attracts us guys to a woman in high heels. Is it the way the pinted toes force the feet into a shapely "S" curve? Is it the way the calf is forced into a continuous flex position? I don't know....and now...I DON'T CARE! On Thursday afternoon I donned a pair of high heels and walked the mile from The Janesville Mall to CK's Grill. It was part of the "Walk a Mile In Her Shoes" promotion with the YWCA, to bring awareness to the domestic abuse problem in America. Great cause...painful walk. To top it all off...I broke a heel! I remember the day (before kids) when my wife & I would go out to the clubs. My wife , Lisa, ROCKED every pair of High heels she ever wore, and to see her do that "high heel strut"....YIKES! Well, yesterday I realized that "strut" came from being in pain and trying to gingerly step in such a way to aleviate that pain ever so slightly. Whoever the guy was that invented high heels, NEVER wore them. So ladies...let me just apologize for wondering why every woman doesn't wear high heels all the time...and applaude those of you willing to withstand the agony of forcing your delicate skids into these sadistic shoes, in the name of lookin' good!
