Universal Studios

Universal Studios

By Justin Brown ( Contact )   July 27, 2010

Continuing from where I left off in my last blog, after a day spent at Magic Kingdom (Disney), we went back to the All Star Hotel at the Disney resort for the night.

The next day, we headed off to Universal Orlando. The 1st day would be spent at Universal Studios. The following day we would spend at Universal's Islands of Adventure.

I enjoyed all the interactive rides like Jaws, Twister, E.T., Men In Black, Jurassic Park and more. Luckily, 'Grandma and Grandpa' watched Mallory while Mary and her cousin Michelle and I went on those rides. There were a few areas for little kids and several spots to get wet and stay cool from the hot Florida sun.

On the 2nd day, there was much more for Mallory to see and do. She was able to run around in the Dr. Sues area and also saw many "cartoon" characters like Scooby, Donkey (Shrek), Woody Woodpecker, The Cat In The Hat and more. Plus...we saw a big show with one of her favorites, Barney!

Mary's cousin Michelle was happy seeing the new Harry Potter park and rides called the "Wizarding World of Harry Potter."

Coming soon...our day at Busch Gardens.
