Spring Fever?

Spring Fever?

By Justin Brown ( Contact )   February 6, 2010

I don't mind the winter months. In fact, I'm looking forward to an ice fishing trip that I have planned in the near future. I love Wisconsin for the simple fact I get all 4 seasons. Spring, Summer, Fall and Winter. And I enjoy activities during all of them.

I love the smell of Spring. That smell just before it rains and the feeling you get when you start to see the grass turning green, and flowers starting to sprout. I also look forward to going spring Turkey hunting in April and May. There's also Easter and Mother's Day.

In the Summer there's always something going on. Fairs, festivals, farmers markets, walks, bonfires, cook-outs, fishing, and swimming. The 4th of July, fireworks and fun.

In the Fall, I love the colors of the leaves changing, the harvest and the sight of corn fields, pumpkins, apples and lets not forget bow hunting for Whitetails.

In the winter, I get excited for that first snow fall. The thought of the deer gun season and Thanksgiving soon arriving. And Green Bay Packers football being in full swing! Later it's Christmas, a New Year, ice-fishing with buddies, and going to movies to "get out" of the house for a bit.

I love all the seasons. But I too am ready for Spring. How about you?
