A "Big" Thank You Saturday from Big Red!

Over the past two summers I've been putting together and hosting "The Big Red Open" to raise money for the flood victims and Echo. And we've been fortunate enough to have Country Legend Jack Greene along with my good friend Dale Watson, and my friends in local band Rough Rider there to help us with the entertainment end.And raise alittle money to help the community.

Well this year I've decided to just do a listener Party for the greatest listeners I've ever had in my 22 years of radio. And that would be the WJVL Country Hall of Fame listeners! And that is exactly what I'm gonna do on June 26th at Gene-oh's Wild Ride Saloon in Evansville(The Old Red Barn). And by popular demand and those upset they didn't get tickets to my "Birthday Bash" my good friend Dale Watson and his Lone Stars have agreed to come back along with Local favorites Rough Rider and local Elvis impersonator Shawn Sharp for an unbelievable night of entertainment!!!!

This event is for me to Thank all the great listeners and sponsors who have supported me and the show for the past 11 years. It was eleven years ago when I came to agreement with Ken Scott to bring the Country Hall of Fame to WJVL. And in that time I've met some of the greatest listeners, artists and business owners who have become my friends.

So for you that won't be in attendance at the show this Saturday night show I want to send some Thank You's out right now in no particular order:

My Wife Gerri, My Dad Gerry and my entire family for your support and understanding. My Friends who are always understanding when I need to leave early on a Saturday to get some sleep! And last but not least and most importantly....You the listeners of the Country Hall of Fame. You are the reason I set aside the time every week to share our love and passion of everything that is True Country Music. And without you there is no Country Hall of Fame!!
