Wiggy's Party

Wiggy's Party

By Big Red ( Contact )   October 2, 2009

This Saturday(October 3rd) Wiggy's Saloon will be celebrating their 2nd Anniversary. It's an all day event with meat raffles, food and fun, and music. I'm looking forward to broadcasting live from the party from 5-7pm. Where we will draw the grand prize winner of a trip for two to the Packers- Lions game on October 18th. Which I will also be apart of with my buddy Wiggy.

People always ask me how I know Wiggy? Well it's a pretty good story. Wiggy and I met through a mutual friend at a annual summer cookout. Needless to say Wiggy and I hit it off right away with our love for Sports and traditional country music.

A few years later when Wiggy and Katie bought there first tavern in Charlies Bluff. We started doing live remotes, lengthing the Country Hall of Fame(Thanks Red Hot), and taking trips to Mexico where I met a lot of new friends.

Over the years Wiggy and I have went to meet George Jones, Ray Price, LeRoy Van Dyke and seen performances from Merle Haggard a couple of times. And we've seen numerous Brewers games and played a few rounds of golf where Wiggy taught me how to use the "Footwedge".

All kidding aside Wiggy and Katie do alot of fundraising for the youth of the surrounding communities, the Vets, or a neighbor in need. I also know that Wiggy was a huge supporter of both "BIG RED OPENS.

So to Wiggy and Katie I raise my glass and wish you a Happy Anniversary to Wiggy's Saloon. And hopefully we have many More.
