Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year

By Big Red ( Contact )   December 21, 2009

Well with Christmas finally in site and New years right around the corner. I finally took time to reflect back on what a "Crazy" year 2009 has been! And I am very proud of how Janesville and the surrounding areas have pulled together.

I know first hand the effort and participation of the "Big Red Open II" was unbelievable. I was so proud that day of my community and the people who go out of their way to help others they don't even know.

I've also seen the giving that the community still is doing during this unbelievably tough economic time. Friends and neighbors help each other this holiday season is really the giving that brings a smile to my face.

I also want to take this time out to send a thank you out to the listeners of "The Country Hall of Fame"!! You never cease to amaze me with your passion for traditional country music, and the friendships that I have come to know over the past ten years of doing the show. From the trips to see legendary Artists, to trips to foreign countries, to that chance meet at a fair or festival I truly appreciate each and everyone I have met or just taken a request from on Sunday Morning. You are the reason I get up every Sunday in the middle of the night to play six of the best hours of Country music all week.

So from the Big Red Household, I want to wish you all the happiest of Holidays.

Thanks,

RED
